
The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) has announced their 2008 women's soccer all-conference teams.
The list includes two first team all-conference picks from the University of Minnesota, Morris in Maddy Gerber (Jr. Mahtomedhi, Minn.) and Nina Jarnot (Jr. Sartell, Minn), both named first team all-conference and earning all-conference honors for the third straight year.
Freshman goal keeper Emily Jacob (So. Minneapolis, Minn.) was named all-conference honorable mention for the first time in her career.
Gerber helped lead UMM to an overall record of 8-11-1 and 6-7-1 in the league with 6 goals on the season and 13 points.
Jacob was 8-10-1 with six saves in the nets for the Cougars.
In the last two games of the regular season, the Cougars out scored Presentation college twice by a total of 6-0 to lift them into the post-season tournament.
