
For Immediate Release: The names of three UMM Cougar Men's Basketball players showed up on the UMAC All-Conference list for the 08-09 season.
1ST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTION and ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM SELECTION
Dan Fragodt (So. Benson, Minn.) ended the season averaging 11.9 points per game while shooting 45% from the floor, 23% for 3 pointers, and 70% from the line. He lead the team in rebounds with 160 total boards which is a 5.9 average per game. He also lead the team in steals with 65, and had 61 assists on the season.
HONORABLE MENTION ALL-CONFERENCE
Kendal Proell (Jr. Osakis, Minn.) had an 11.3 points per game average for the Cougars, while he shot 39% from the floor, 37% from beyond the arch, and 72% from the line. Kendall averaged 4 rebounds per game while compiling 43 steals, and he lead the team with 95 assists on the season.
Zach Meyer (Fr. Cottonwood, Minn.)averaged 10.1 points per game by shooting 49% from the floor, 27% for 3, and 81% from the foul line. Zach averaged 4.9 boards per game, had 30 steals and ended the season with 33 assists.
