Nehowig and Toso UMAC Players of the Week

Sophomore Kacy Nehowig (Paynesville, Minn.) and junior Luke Toso (Falcon Heights, Minn.) have been selected as UMAC players of the week for their respective cross country performances this past weekend. The Cougars traveled to New Ulm for the Martin Luther Invitational meet. Nehowig, a transfer from Northern Iowa Area CC, finished second with a time of 25:01. Her finish behind teammate Linda Keller insured that the Cougars earned enough points for the team win. Toso finished fifth in the men's race, the first of four Cougars to place in the top 10. Toso, one of the co-founders of the men's team, has emerged as a leader on the trail as well, routinely placing high for UMM. Kacy Nehowig Luke Toso
