Mark Fohl
Head Baseball Coach

Mark Fohl has been the head baseball coach at Minnesota-Morris since 1985 and served as athletic director at UMM since 1987.

Mark was also an assistant football coach for the Cougars from 1985-1995 and has been the head men’s golf coach since 2000.

Fohl is a 1981 graduate of the University of North Dakota. The Beach, N.D., native and his wife Melanie have three sons, Gyles, Tyler and Mike.

Grant Harding
Assistant Coach

Coach Harding is a native of Sandstone, Minnesota, where he played football and baseball for his father, Bruce. Harding earned the Athlete of Year at East Central High school.

While studying at Hamline University Harding competed in football and baseball for the Pipers.

He started his baseball coaching career with the Sandstone legion in 1999 which made it all the way to districts for the fist time in its team history. Coach Harding has also been the head coach for many teams at youth levels in Hinckley and Sandstone MN. He has also been playing town team with the Hinckley Knights for the past 14 years.
