Todd Hickman
Head Coach
1st Season
Prior to joining the staff at Minnesota-Morris, Hickman spent three years at Hibbing Community College in Hibbing, MN as the Head Football Coach. In addition to his football duties, Hickman also served as the Head Coach for the Women's Basketball and Softball programs.
Todd Hickman "Hicks" was named the 16th head coach of the Cougars onJanuary 14th, 2007. He has been coaching football for 18 years. During those years he has been a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Position Coach of all offensive and defensive positions. "Hicks" is entering into his 18th season with Cougar Football.
Todd and his wife Karie, a 1990 UMM grad, reside north of Morris with their five children, Cody, Cassey, Calley , Correy and Cortney.

Raven Battle
Defensive Coordinator
3rd Season
Battle comes to UMM from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington where he has served as the defensive line coach the past two seasons.
He and his wife Nikki along with their daughter Olivia and son Raven Jr. are in the process of moving to Morris.
A graduate of Idaho State University in 2001, Battle was a four year letter winner at Idaho State and a second team all Big Sky Conference linebacker in 1998.

Matt Johnson
Offensive Line Coach
3rd Season
Matt Johnson was a four year starter on the Cougar football team and was a team captain for two years as well as being named first team All-Conference this past fall.
A December 2003 graduate of UMM, Johnson, a Lewiston, Minnesota native, received his degree B.A. Degree in Social Science and was the 2004 Minnesota-Morris Men's Honor Athlete Award winner.
Matt and his wife Abbey (Starzecki), a former Cougar soccer player, live in Morris.
