Head Coach Jeremy Karger-Gatzow
Jeremy Karger-Gatzow is a name that will be familiar to sports fans in west central Minnesota.
The Glenwood native graduated from Minnewaska Area High School in 1996, where he was member of the Lakers track team. Later, at Hamline University, he ran track, making all-conference in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
Karger-Gatzow earned his B.A. from Hamline and later an M.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Movement Sciences.
Karger-Gatzow began coaching at UMM in 2005, taking over track and cross-country duties. He founded the men's cross-country team in 2007.
Jeremy and his wife, Erica, live in Morris.

Assistant Coach: Amber Turnbull
Amber graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2007 with a degree in Sports Management.
Amber began working with UMM track and cross-country in 2005, first as an intern, and now as a full-time assistant.
Turnbull competed for the North Daota State University track and field teams, earning North Central Conference all-conference honors in the high jump and pentathalon in 2003 and 2004.
Turnbull works primarily with the team's jumpers, hurdlers and sprinters.
A native of Deer River, Minnesota, Amber lives in Morris with her husband, Scott, and their two children Trey and Sydney.
