David Molesworth was named the first ever head coach for the University of Minnesota-Morris women's swimming and diving team in 2004. Molesworth will also serve as aquatics coordinator for the Regional Fitness Center (RFC).
Molesworth received his master's degree in Athletic Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2003 where he served as a graduate assistant for two years. The Loveland, Colo., native also holds the USD meter record in the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke.
The 12-time All-American brings a vast knowledge of national and conference experience.
Minnesota-Morris Athletic Director Mark Fohl said " David impressed everyone involved in the interview process with his enthusiasm and passion for swimming and diving. I am very happy to have someone with his knowledge of swimming and diving to start our program. He will get our program off to a great start".
