Ashley Wintheiser (Jr. Lino Lakes, MN) continues to re-write the University of Minnesota-Morris women's track and field record book in field events.

The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) recently announced the 2006 men's and women's outdoor track and field post-season awards and the University of Minnesota-Morris had two earn all-conference honors on the men's side and seven on the women's side and for two women, it was the third straight year earning all-conference honors.

The University of Minnesota-Morris men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Bison Invitational Saturday at NDSU in Fargo, the final meet before the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championships this weekend in Superior, Wisconsin.

For the second time this year, University of Minnesota-Morris Ashley Wintheiser has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) women's track and field athlete of the week.
