Head Coach Jeremy Karger-Gatzow

Jeremy Karger-Gatzow is a name that will be familiar to Minnewaska Area fans.

The Glenwood native graduated from Minnewaska Area High School in 1996 where he played football and was also a member of the Lakers track team. He attended Hamline University where he ran track, All-conference in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.

He received his B.A. from Hamline University in 2000 and then when on to graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004 with an M.S. degree in Movement Sciences.

Karger-Gatzow was an assistant track and field coach at Bryant College in Rhode Island from 2000-2002.

Jeremy has also completed level I USATF coaching certification.

His wife Erica, from Wyoming MN; has Masters in Social Work from University of Chicago; works at the Heartland Girls Ranch in Benson.
