UMM Scholarships for Study Abroad “I'd love to study abroad, but I can't afford it.” If you’ve said this, think again. There are a multitude of funding options available starting with your regular financial aid and including scholarships, fee reductions, loans and more. This website provides information on these options and anticipates common questions about financial aid for study abroad. By studying these options and planning ahead, you can add a new dimension to your undergraduate experience. Scholarship application form: 2009-10 UMM All-Programs Scholarships UMM is participating in an all-Univesrity effort to internationalize its curriculum. To assist in that effort, UMM has $750 study abroad scholarships. These scholarships may be applied to any UMM program including the English Language Teaching Assisant Program (ELTAP), Global Student Teaching (GST), the exchanges with China, Korea, Japan and France, or any study abroad program offered through UMM. Scholarships are open to all students, first year through senior! Applications are available in the Academic Center for Enrichment, 5 Student Center, or by request at abroad@morris.umn.edu. Deadlines: November 14, 2008 -- Spring Break and Spring Semester 2009 programs February 13, 2009 -- May Session and summer programs April 23, 2009 -- academic year 2008-09 and Fall Semester 2009 programs UMM Early Application Scholarship--$500 Sign up early for any UMM Spring Break, May or Summer Session 2009 study abroad program and be eligible for a $500 scholarship. All early applicant names will be put in a drawing to win the scholarship. This scholarship will be taken as a reduction to the program fee. Deadline: December 12, 2008
