Cancellation
Refunds for cancelled classes will be made in full for any of the following reasons: 1) when a class is cancelled by Continuing Education; or 2) when the hour, day or location of the class is changed by Continuing Education after a student has registered for it. When students cancel a class they are eligible for refunds according to the UMM refund schedule.

Returned Check Charge
Continuing Education assesses a $20 charge for checks returned by the bank because of insufficient funds.

Course/Workshop/Conference Cancellation
The University reserves the right to cancel a course, workshop or conference in instances of insufficient enrollment. For courses, this decision is ordinarily made no later than the first class meeting. Conference/Workshop registrants will be notified by phone regarding cancellation.

Class Cancellation
If it is necessary to cancel class meetings for reasons such as instructor illness or inclement weather, students will be notified by telephone or an announcement will be made by no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the class session over these radio stations: KMRS- AM, Morris; KUMM-FM, Morris; and KCCO and KSAX television, Alexandria
