Master of Education (M.Ed. - Duluth campus)

A Master of Education graduate program through U of MN Duluth offers professional development for those in education or human service professions; classroom teachers, educators in specialized areas, and professionals with training responsibilities. A teaching license or education degree is not required for the M.Ed. program.

The 30 credit Master’s program is delivered in a cohort format, with 20-25 professionals moving through core or common courses together. Online instruction will replace some traditional face-to-face classes in the M.Ed. program, allowing students from rural Minnesota and surrounding states to continue full time employment while completing the degree. The entire program can be completed in 2 years of part time study.
