The University of Minnesota Morris and District 206 Community Education will partner to offer a lifelong learning course in the Alexandria area in February 2009.

Greek and Roman Mythology
Instructor: Laird Barber
UMM professor emeritus of English

Join Professor Laird Barber, UMM professor emeritus of English, for an overview of Greek and Roman stories explaining the creation of the world and the lives of the gods, goddesses, heroes and heroines. This three-part course will explore myths in the form of art and literature, including fairy tales and superhuman stories.

Fee: $29 for 3 sessions
Location: Nelson Wellness Center
1220 Nokomis, Alexandria
Dates: Mondays, Feb. 9, 16 and 23
