HOW DO ROBOTS
AND COMPUTERS WORK?
(June 16-20, 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Work together with your friends to get hands-on experience with robots and computers. Build and program a variety of robots. Learn an easy-to-use drag-and-drop programming environment to make robots perform tasks, such as following a line, looking for an object or responding to your voice. Find out what’s inside a computer: take it apart, learn the purpose of different parts and put it all back together again! Have an opportunity to build and explore a network of several computing devices. INSTRUCTOR: Andy Lopez is an engineer by training, computer science professor at UMM, and a tinkerer since an early age. He is interested in computer networks and environmental issues. |
