Who are your favorite jazz musicians and why: Bird, Miles, Coltrane, Ornette Coleman because of their unique styles and the contribution that they made to music. Wes montgomery, john scofield, pat metheny, bill frisell, adam rogers, and wayne krantz because each one of them has created their own sound on the guitar. Chris Potter's Underground group because their music is progressive and demonstrates that there is still new ground to uncover in music, new sounds to be made and new ways to express ideas and feelings.
