Minutes of the Consultative Committee

Chair Guyotte called the meeting to order at 8:00 a. m. Associate  Vice
Chancellor Maxeiner discussed the position of the Director of Alumni
Relations and reviewed the operations and accomplishments of the unit in
some detail.
 

The Committee discussed the director position with respect to a range of
issues:  promotion from within vs. external search, regional vs. national
search, relative value of having an alumnus in the position, and funding
for the Alumni Relations operation.
 

The meeting adjourned at 9:00 a. m.
