October 3, 1997 minutes

The Consultative Committee met on Friday October 3, 1997 at 3pm in the
Behmler Conference Room. Chancellor Johnson joined the committee to ask
for advice on evaluation committee make-up and timing.  Also discussed was
yearly planning as well as the committee's meeting next week with
President Yudof.



October 6, 1997 minutes

The Consultative Committee met on Monday, October 6, 1997 at 10am in the
Behmler Conference Room.  President Yudof joined the meeting and discussed
with the committee how UMM's mission fits within the University of
Minnesota system and also some issues and concerns of faculty, staff and
students at UMM.

The Consultative Committee met on Friday, October 10, 1997 at 3pm in the
Behmler Conference Room.  The committee prepared recommendations for the
make-up of evaluation committees as requested by Chancellor Johnson.

The Consultative Committee met on Friday, October 17, 1977 at 3pm in the
Behmler Conference Room.  Vice-Chancellor McGrath joined the committee and
requested the committee's help in forming a search committee for the
Minority Student Program Director.  Also discussed was President Yudof's
request for a research profile of UMM faculty.
