December 5, 1997 minutes

The Consultative Committee met on Friday, December 5, 1997 at 3pm in the
Behmler Conference Room.  Vice-Chancellor and Dean Schuman met with the
committee to review policies and procedures for faculty/staff unexpected
leaves of absence.  The committee then drafted a response to Schuman.  The
committee also reviewed selected faculty evaluations for racist/sexist
comments.  It was announced that Diane Schultz will join the Consultative
Committee to replace Jose Marquez who is leaving UMM.
