·	Items brought up from the sub-committees will be discussed next week.
·	The committee will meet with Sandra Olson-Loy next week on athletics program.
·	The committee will recommend members for the Blake Visiting Professorship planning committee
Committee Meeting
·	Chancellor Schuman presented the "big idea" that involves sending every UMM student abroad, with all their classmates of the same year, to the same destination, between the Sophomore and Junior years.
Some of the issues that are brought up are:
o Staffing
o Risks
o Effect on admission and retention
o Clarification of learning objectives
o Integration with TEL and civic engagement
o Student opinion survey
o Funding issues
o Effect on tuition
o Assessment plan
o Possible different acceptance from metropolitan area students and rural area students
o Possibility of an exchange program
o Institutional visibility
