Consultative Committee
February 23, 2004

Absent:  Joyce Amborn, Jeff Ratliff-Crain (XO), Cendy Gonzales, Margaret

*	The committee discussed the email and spreadsheet sent out regarding potential 
budget cuts.  The committee discussed its role at this point in time.  The 
Consultative Committee will provide an arena for individuals to express their 
views on the budget recommendations, particularly for people who feel 
uncomfortable relaying their views to the BTF or administration themselves.  The 
committee will hold open meetings or “office hours” on Monday March 1 at 8AM 
and 1PM. Individuals can also phone or email any member of the committee to 
pass on their thoughts.  The committee will relay these to the appropriate 
individuals.

*	Faculty affair committee—Consultative Committee would like to meet with the 
framers of the Faculty Affairs committee proposal.  Michelle will contact Greg 
Thorson and/or Bert Ahern to try to set up a time to discuss.
