Guest:  Dean John Schwaller

Discussion centered on Continuing Education and Regional Programs.  In light of 
retirements, budget cuts, and other developments, CERP’s function, mission, operation 
and organization will be examined.  The dean spoke with the committee regarding 
possible procedures for conducting this examination and requested names of potential 
task force members.  

Some members asked about the possibility of offering graduate credits or continuing 
education credits.   Benefits and constraints were discussed.

Discussion also touched on the CERP mission and goals and a method for the campus to 
have input into the CERP task force was suggested.
