The goal of the course is for pre-nursing students and students who are not majoring in biology to learn basic concepts of nutrition, metabolism and physiology and to understand the scientific method that leads to this knowledge. Assessment of student performances will be based on student projects, written assignments, quizzes, exams and class participation.
