Assessment:
Goals of this course:  Students will learn about different strategies and methods in helping deaf learners read, define the basic concepts of reading in deaf learners, be able to select appropriate material to use with deaf learners and be able to use various assessment tools in working with deaf learners.
How will you assess the success of this course in achieving the goals described above?   Students will take five formal required exams on the topics covered in class.  Also various class projects and a short term paper will be required.
