GOALS: to give students an overview of different guitar styles and give them an opportunity to use these in developing their own personal repertoire. The course allows them to learn from professionals who have mastered the difficult task of arranging music on guitar.
ASSESSMENT: Successful student pieces and arrangements will be featured in a concert at the end of the semester.

THIS COURSE WILL PROVIDE ADVANCED GUITAR STUDENTS AN EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING REPERTOIRE WITH SEASONED PROFESSIONALS. IT WILL PROVIDE GUITAR MUSIC MAJORS AN UPPER DIVISION CREDIT WITH EMPHASIS IN THEIR INSTRUMENT.
