Goals: To give students experience in the production elements of a theatre production. Assessment: Satisfactory completion of assigned production related tasks.

There is no concurrent or coreq requirement. TH1060 Production Experience involves only a name change from the confusing Theatre Practicum. The course has never carried a GER designator because there is no artistic performance involved.

We feel that this course does not meet the spirit of the GER requirement. It is to give credit to individuals doing some aspect of Theatre production other than performing, such as dressing, maintaining the costumes, sweeping the stage, focusing the lights, etc.

PEOPLE IN THE THEATRE EXPERIENCE CLASS AND STAGECRAFT HAVE PRACTICUM HOURS TO FULFILL AND THEY GET THE CLASSES MIXED UP.
