THIS COURSE IS BEING OFFERED IN RESPONSE TO A PERCEIVED NEED FOR ESL INSTRUCTION AT UMM, MADE ALL THE MORE URGENT BY A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ENROLLMENT OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME DURING THE SUMMER.

THIS COURSE IS INTENDED TO SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL OR NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS WHO ARE NEW TO AMERICAN RHETORICAL STYLES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY CLASSROOMS.

INSTRUCTOR'S RESUME IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW.

COURSE DOES NOT FIT THE CRITERIA FOR EXPANDING PERSPECTIVES. THEREFORE A GER HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNATED.
