The proposed curricular changes bring the requirements for a music minor more in line with the Objectives for the Music Discipline as found in the UMM Catalog where there is an emphasis on the traditions of Western and non-Western music through the study of music theory, history and performance.

*Concurrent enrollment in piano lessons until the piano proficiency test is passed.
