Those
seeking licensure in communication arts/literature, or others in
education, and other professionals develop mastery of the principles and
practices of public speaking, small group communication, and interpersonal
communication. Students will learn, reflect, and apply their knowledge of
the three settings for communication explicated through the course.
Rationale
(see instructions): The 2000 level currently indicated
for the course is misleading both in the amount and challenge of the work in
the course. Students are expected to work beyond the introductory level. Most
students taking this course are juniors or seniors.
