THE PLAYWRITING FIELD IS GROWING WITH MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY FOR PUBLICATION OF PLAYS. THERE ARE MORE MFA PROGRAMS NOW THAN EVER. THIS STYLE OF WRITING AND PRESENTING IS NOT COVERED IN ANY OTHER CLASS ON CAMPUS. KNOWING HOW TO WRITE A PLAY COULD ADD TO A MORE WELL ROUNDED EDUCATION. 11 STUDENTS EXPRESSED INTEREST THIS YEAR.
