Rationale for Changes or Exceptions: |
The Studio Art Discipline is broadening the offerings of non-major level studios beyond First Year Drawing (ArtS 1070/1080) to meet requests from non-major students who seek to enroll in major-level courses but lack necessary prerequisites and skills to be successful. Courses under the Visual Studies for Non-Majors headings will introduce a wider variety of media (often aligned with a professorŐs specialty in the discipline) and be more attractive to the students looking for courses to fulfill the artistic performance requirement. |
