THIS COURSE ALLOWS STUDENTS FROM ALL DISCIPLINES TO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH ITALIAN CINEMA.  IT IS OF INTEREST TO STUDENTS IN THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE SEQUENCE WISHING TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF ITALIAN CULTURE, AS WELL AS TO STUDENTS FROM OTHER DISCIPLINES INTERESTED IN FILMS STUDIES.  IT WILL ROTATE WITH ITAL 1311, MODERN ITALY THROUGH LITERATURE AND FILM AND HUM 1104, ITALIAN LITERATURE IN TRANSATION.
