1] STUDENTS STRUGGLED WHEN SPCH 3071 INCLUDED PUBLIC SPEAKING, INTERPERSONAL, AND GROUPS. THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT TIME TO THROUGHLY DISCUSS AND PRACTICE COMMUNICATION IN EACH OF THE AREAS. 2] THE COURSE WILL MEET THE GROWING DESIRE AMONGST VARIOUS CAMPUS GROUPS THAT MORE CLASSES BE OFFERED IN THE AREA OF ORAL COMMUNICATION AT THE LOWER DIVISION LEVEL. 3] THE COURSE OFFERED IN THE FALL WILL GIVE INCOMING STUDENTS ACCESS TO A CLASS IN THE AREA OF SPEECH COMMUNICATION. 4] THIS CLASS CAN BE TAUGHT BY ALL FACULTY WITHIN THE DISCIPLINE GIVING US AND STUDENTS MORE FLEXIBILITY IN MEETING LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STUDENT BODY IN THIS ACADEMIC AREA.
