Rationale for
Changes or
Exceptions
:

STAGE MAKE-UP IS AN ESSENTIAL AREA OF KNOWLEDGE WITHIN THE THEATRE DISCIPLINE. UMM CURRENTLY HAS NO COURSE TO TEACH ITS HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT OR APPLICATION. BECAUSE THE STUDENTSí ONLY EXPOSURE TO STAGE MAKE-UP IS A FOUR DAY COMPONENT WITHIN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF ACTING COURSE, THEY DO NOT GAIN THE NEEDED KNOWLEDGE IN THIS FIELD.
