ALLOWING MORE THAN ONE GER DESIGNATION ON A COURSE: This was discussed among the members present. Members wondered how urgent the problem is and how widespread. Some members thought there hasn't been enough time on semesters to see whether there are too few GER designated courses. Another members said it is not very difficult for students to fulfill the requirements. Another suggestion was to look at each GER designation and add courses as necessary. It was also noted that there may be some imbalance in the numbers of courses designated in the Global Village categories but that students are only required to fulfill two of the four. There may need to be better planning by the student and advisor.

No action was taken.

Meeting adjourned 8:26 a.m.
