Pursuant to its assessment plan, the LAHS faculty decided in summer 2005 to undertake an examination of the extent to which their advisees were pursuing reasonably coherent programs of study within the LAHS major.  That evaluation has not yet been completed but is still on the agenda.  In response to student interest, the LAHS Committee also agreed to add a Criminal Justice track to its several suggested tracks for students to follow, these tracks thus fostering coherence in students' programs.
