The Welcome Center has two conference rooms that may be rented. The larger has a capacity of up to 30 people; the smaller has a capacity of 10-12 people. The conference rooms are located in the campus’s newest remodeled building that has been renovated to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards. The Welcome Center is the first building in Minnesota to use energy efficient chilled beam technology, and the West Central Research and Outreach Center wind turbine and the campus’s biomass plant power it.
