Dial-Up Internet Access

Hi-speed connections are not available to off-campus users through the University. However, if you have a modem for your computer, you can still access the Internet by dialing in over your phone line. This service differs from a ResNet connection in the following ways:

No charge for this service.
Requires modem instead of Ethernet adapter.
Slower.
Limited to Internet and email only.
Subject to busy signals when others are using the service.
Ties up a phone line.
