Dialup Instructions For Mac OS X

1. Open up the Library folder on the hard drive.

2. Create a new folder (inside the Library Folder) by selecting 'New Folder' from the File menu. Name the folder "Terminal Scripts".

View the UMMDialup.script (ctrl + Mouse click and select "Download Link To Disk" to save file)

3. Drag the file 'UMMDialup.script' into the Terminal Scripts folder.

4. In System Preferences (available in the Apple Menu ), open 'Network'.

5. Click on the 'PPP' tab and click on the 'PPP Options' button.

6. In the 'Advanced Options' section of the resulting window, click the "Terminal Script" dropdown menu and select 'UMMDialup.script'

7. Click "OK" to close the window.

8. Click "Apply Now" in the 'Network' window.

9. Close the 'Network' window.

*Creating a shortcut to your internet connection:

1. Open up the "Applications" folder On Your Hard Drive.
2. Open the "Internet Connections"icon, and select "Show modem status in menu bar."

3. An icon of a phone should appear on the top right-hand corner of your menu bar.

4. Click on the phone icon, and select "Connect," and the modem should begin dialing.
