Dial Up Instructions for Windows XP

Note: Scripting is no longer necessary for dial-up connections, but if you have previously set up a dial up connection to UMM, it is not necessary to change it.

1. Click Start, then select Control Panel and switch to Classic View then click Network Connections.
2. Select Create a New Connection. This brings up the New Connection Wizard which walks you through setting up a new connection.
1. Select Connect to the Internet and Click the Next button to continue with the wizard.
2. Select Setup my Internet connection manually and Click the Next button.
3. Select Connect using a dial-up modem and Click the Next button.
4. Type in UMM 2 Hour PPP Line in the ISP Name text box. Click Next.
5. Enter 589-4526 for the Phone Number.
6. Type your Username and Password.
7. Click the Next button to continue.
8. Now click Finish to create the icon and finish the setup.
