Installing Thunderbird
- Download Thunderbird from one of the above [For
Windows] locations.
- It would be best saved to somewhere easily
accessible,
like your Desktop.
- OR select "run" to install immediately (if
your browser allows)
- If you chose to save the executible, "Thunderbird
Setup 1.0.exe",
- find the easily accessible place you
saved it to
- and run the file simply by double-clicking
on it.
- You should now see the beginning of the "Mozilla
Thunderbird Setup" wizard.
- On top in bold, it should read "Welcome
to Mozilla Thunderbird!"
- Read the license agreement and click [accept]
if you wish to continue installing Thunderbird.
- Select standard from the two options
- A summary of components being added.
- Setup is now complete. Check [] Launch Mozilla
Thunderbird 1.0 now
if you wish to run Thunderbird immediately.
Otherwise, uncheck the box to run Thunderbird at
a more convenient time.

- Download Thunderbird from one of the above [For
Macs] locations.
- The download should automatically save the file
to the desktop.
- It should be called: download.mozilla.org
- Run the downloaded file.
- A window will pop up extracting the thunderbird
disc image.
- Run the thunderbird disc image.
- The image should be on the desktop area.
- It should be called thunderbird-mac-Mach0.dmg
- Upon running the image, the Finder window will
pop up with
the Thunderbird executible within it.
