Resnet
ResNet is the residential computer network service provided to students residing on the University of Minnesota, Morris campus. ResNet lets you connect your personal computer, when equipped with a 10/100 Ethernet adapter, directly to the University's computer network and, through the University network, to the Internet.

Follow the Setup Instructions found on this Web page or if you prefer to have the ResNet Staff set it up for you, appointments can be made by calling 1-320-589-6384 or by stopping down at Computing Services, which

With a connection to ResNet, you get full Internet access to the World Wide Web! You will be able to connect to the Unix machines, allowing you to read and answer your mail in your room. You can access Summon, and the UM Student Access System, so you can check your grades, search for library books, or see which classes are full without even leaving your room.
Best of all, your connection will be a direct connection to the Internet. You'll never have to worry about getting a busy signal. And if you're tired of the slow speed of your modem connection, you'll love the 100
megabit per second speed of your Ethernet connection!
