The campus network runs 24 hours per day, every day. Most scheduled maintenance, which might interrupt the network, takes place between 6-8 a.m., and will be announced on the ResNet Web page. Maintenance that physically takes place in a residence hall must take place after 9 a.m. due to housing regulations. Unfortunately unscheduled network outages can also occur. Network and Communication Services responds to problems with individual connections during regular business hours (M-F, 8-4:30) except on University holidays. We will respond to major network failures on a 24-hour basis.
