The 2001 Faculty-Staff Recognition Dinner

The annual Faculty-Staff Recognition Dinner was especially meaningful this spring as Jim Olson became the last of the original UMM faculty to retire.

Also, Chancellor Sam Schuman and Dean Nancy Carpenter announced another high point of Campaign Minnesota, the establishment of UMM's first donor-sponsored endowed professorship, the University of Minnesota Morris Distinguished Visiting Professorship in the Liberal Arts, made possible by a generous contribution from former Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Elizabeth "Bettina" Blake.
