The 2001 Student Honors and Awards Ceremony took place May 10 in the HFA Recital Hall. How many students achieve excellence while studying at UMM? Well, it takes all these presenters holding all those notes to honor them all! John Tate Award and UMM Alumni Association Teaching Award winner Paula O'Loughlin delivered an address that summed up the key to UMM's accomplished student body: "I Just Work Here."
