Biomass Dedication and "green" energy tours

A public dedication of the new biomass gasification facility on the University of Minnesota, Morris campus will be held Friday, Oct. 3. The public is invited to tour the biomass facility and wind turbine at 10:30 a.m. and also immediately following the dedication. The dedication is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the biomass facility, which is located next to the heating and cooling plant, east of the Regional Fitness Center. The event will be hosted by the University of Minnesota, Morris and the West Central Research and Outreach Center.
