Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)

The Academic Competitiveness Grant is a federally-funded gift program. Students who are a Federal Pell Grant recipient, enrolled full-time in a degree program and have successfully completed a rigorous secondary school program of study designated by the State of Minnesota, are eligible for this grant. The student's high school transcript will be evaluated for an award of $750 for their first-year of college. Student's in their second-year of college must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 and have completed 30 cumulative credits to receive an award of $1,300. This grant is based on sufficient funds from the U.S. Department of Education.

The Priority deadline to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the University of Minnesota, Morris to the federal processor is March 1.

Students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits.
