Financial Aid Notification

Notification of an electronic Financial Aid Award Notice (eFANN)
Students should watch their University e-mail account for the announcement that their financial aid award is now available online. Students will be able to check their “Financial Aid Status” at the University of Minnesota, Morris (UMM) Student One Stop Site. Review the Financial Aid Status Presentation to help guide you go through your “Financial Aid Status” process. When students receive their eFAAN they can view, respond to and print a copy of their financial aid award.

Electronic Financial Aid Award Notice Checklist :

New Students:

• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Apply and be accepted for admission at UMM
• Make sure all required additional documentation has been received by the Financial Aid Office

UMM Continuing Students:

• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Make sure all required additional documentations has been received by the Financial Aid Office
• Register for the upcoming term

If students do not receive an announcement that their financial aid award is available, there may be additional documentation required by the Financial Aid Office.

Students should check their “Financial Aid Status” at Student One Stop to see what documentation has been requested.

The priority deadline to complete and submit the FAFSA for the University of Minnesota, Morris to the federal processor is March 1.
