SciVal Funding

SciVal Funding has over 13,000 active funding opportunities in their database. SciVal provides funding opportunities from private and federal sources, and provides funding history for recurring grants. Unique to SciVal is the quick search options, including “multidisciplinary” and “deadline within three months.”


University of Minnesota, Pivot (formally COS Funding) is the most complete funding database available and boasts an updated search page to make the searches even easier.

SPIN - Sponsored Projects Information Network

SPIN is a funding opportunities database designed to provide current information on federal, non-federal, and international funding opportunities, including fellowships, research grants, publication support, sabbatical support, RFAs (NIH Guide), curriculum development, conference support, RFPs (Commerce Business Daily), and more. The database contains more than 2,500 sponsoring agencies, which together offer over 11,000 separate funding opportunities.
