Green Power: Leadership In the October 2005, the US Department of Energy and US Environmental Protection Agency recognized UMM as a new member of the Green Power Leadership Club. Leadership Club awards are competitive awards recognizing outstanding commitments and achievements in green power, significantly exceeding Green Power Partnership purchase requirements. The award was presented October 24, 2005, in Austin, Texas, in conjunction with the 10th National Green Power Marketing Conference. The Morris campus has a long-standing tradition of students, faculty and staff working together to promote resource conservation. Read more about UMM's Green Energy Task Force.
