November's Careers in Biology

Adam will be presenting a talk entitled, "How Biology at UMM taught me to evolve, adapt, and appreciate my grandma ironing my swimsuit", on Tuesday November 12th. An additional classroom presentation is on Wed, Nov. 13 at 9:15 in SCI 2200 entitled, "Minding one's P's and Q's: phosphorus and (water) quality.
Adam's research interests include biogeochemical cycling of nutrients in aquatic environments phosphorus and nitrogen speciation in waters, soils, and sediments and water quality indicators and parameters in agriculturally influenced watersheds. After graduating with distinction from Morris, Dr. Hoffman went on to receive a Ph.D. in environmental chemistry and technology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008.
